Most of my Saturday t.v time was spent watching cartoons, American Bandstand, and Soul Train. I always dream of dancing on these shows, but that never happen. When Mr. Clark start hosting the New Year countdown in New York, I always was there in spirit. He also hosted the t.v. Bloopers which was very funny. Mr. Clark was always there in our lives through television.
This is my song for today. I am not lost anymore. I have found a reason to love and be hopeful that this world will get better. This movie gives you the hope that we will have longevity. But as it goes we must die one day. Love the movie, get it if you have not seen it. "As the great Martian says, It is a great honor to serve you".
Netflix is surging because most people are now trying to cut out their cable service. Good investment if you are thinking about making an investment.
As a customer, I would like for Netflix to let customers purchase the non-streamline movies on the internet. If not I will use Amazon because it is reasonably cheaper.
Then you have HBO Go and HBO Now coming out as another source of watching your favorite shows. I sign up for the HBO Now and I did not understand why I had to purchase an internet connection to use the service. Why can't it be downloaded as an app and pay a monthly membership fee?
Whatever going to happen with most of these television streamline viewers, most people will be happy because it will cut the cost of their cable bill. : )
I did not get to see the "Lords of the Rings" until it came to "HBO. I did go to the movie with my daughter, but I was thrown out the movie because the baby was crying. My grandson was too impatient, so I took him to the lobby area to ride on some of the kiddy rides. Whatever you do if you can afford it, get a babysitter. Don't take a baby to the movies..
This has my favorite along with Adam West, Bruce Lee. I could not wait to see Batman & Robing series. Of course, we only saw the episodes in black & white television. My family could not afford a color television. Mr. West is now voice on Family Guy as the mayor. I will post more on Bruce Lee later.
The Universe
Asawaken this morning sipping on my tea, I was searching for different video's to find what I like. I am appalled with all the events that are happening in this world. In some video's I found people are reporting that the world is coming to an end. I found a video on a meteor is coming on September 24, 2015. Then there's wars that are happening in different nations. There is so much going on that one person cannot contain or decipher what is going to happen.
I try to keep up with current events and be aware of my surrounding. We have so much evil in this world that all we can do is pray that evil does not knock on our door. We have to pray for protection and ask God to give us understanding, wisdom, and knowledge to make our life better. Being an everyday average person that has no power or money to do anything to help, all I can do is pray. It is said prayer changes things, so that is all I know do.
I am not here to prove a point or get you to like me. I am here to post what I like and enjoy sharing what I like. So if you find my site to be offensive, let me apologize to you because I am not here to convince you of anything.
So that your heart is not dismayed about the world and all that is happening, I live by this verse which is from Matthew 6:33. "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." So keep love in your heart and give that love to those around you because love does not cost you anything.
This speech I heard this speech and it really inspired me. It should be applied today. We have greed on this earth. Once you get to your position of richness, then what? We all must come together rich and poor to make this better for the future of all our children. I know one day as humans, all over the world will get this thing call "life of the living" right one day.
I only saw a few pictures the were produced by Mr. Chaplin. "The Champ" was one of the films I saw on TCM channel. The song that is socialized with him is "Smile". I will post two versions. I really love the song.
This movie is base on the husband played by (Andy Garcia) dealing with his wife played by(Meg Ryan) alcoholism. He is in a dilemma on how to deal with her alcoholism because he loves her so much. If you have not seen this movie you can purchase it through Amazon.com.

Recorded in 1966 my Percy Sledge at the Norala Sound Studio in Sheffield, Alabama. It made number one on both the Billboard Hot 100 and R & B singles charts. This song have been used in commercials and a movie called "When a Man loves a Woman" starring Meg Ryan. I was only seven years old when this song hit the billboard. I did not hear this song until I saw the commercial.
Mr. Percy Sledge passed April 14, 2015 from the battle of cancer.
Good Morning my viewers. This song gave me strength when I was very sick and could not get out my bed or walk. By the grace of God, I am able to do what I love. Happy Birthday which I miss on March 14. Mr. Jones, my favorite that you produce is "The Wiz". With cast Micheal Jackson, Diana Ross and others that I really enjoyed their performance.
When I was a teenager and was able to watch our black and white television, I first say Mr. Poitier in " Raisin in the Sun". The performance of him playing a hard working husband making a bad decision about investing money gave me an understanding of being careful who you give your money too.
I got to watch all of Mr. Poitier movies on channel 17, own by Ted Turner. I particularly
like the movie "Guess who's coming to Dinner", which gave me some understanding about interracial relationships. This movie was remade with comedian Bernie Mac and Ashton Cushon.
On April 13, 1964 Mr. Poitier becomes the first black actor to win the coveted "best actor" for his role in "Lilies of the Field".
I enjoyed watching all of Mr. Poitier movies and movies he directed.

There is an inborn tendency to be FREE. Every being is struggling to be FREE. No one wants bondage. No one wants misery. The very idea of disease and death is appalling to all. Still, a being thinks that it will be happy by sense- pleasures. Can these sense- pleasures make one happy? No. Any amount of sense-pleasures will not make one really happy. Sense-pleasures will bring momentary satisfaction and then make one unhappy. Then comes the question: Where does this real happiness lie? It lies in know the True Nature. To know the True Nature, you have to control your mind, you have to live a true life. You must be a man of good character. That is why all the Scriptures ask their followers to be good, kind, gentle, noble, charitable, truthful, etc. In fact, moral and ethical codes of good conduct are the starting points of all Religions.
