Thinking about the days my auntie and grandmother would take me on fishing trips to Florida turnpike bridge during spring and summer time. I remember catching an eel and I panic because I had never seen an eel. What memories!!!!!
I recently watch the new 2015 Cinderella with the pretty blue dress. I have seen several versions of Cinderella and Ever After seem more realistic than all of the other versions. Of course, it is just a fairy tale that I myself had created in my mind that I will one day meet my Prince charming. As I got older, I realize I had to wake up from that dream.
Getting back to the history of this folk tale Cinderella, originated by Giambattista Basile in 1634. Recap by Charles Perrault and also the Grimm Brothers.( see Wikipedia for history on each author)
In each play or movie dated back to 1889 have produced Cinderella with music and others without. I do like the musical Cinderella's and have enjoyed all of them throughout my life. But no matter how many times it's remade, it is a good story. However, this new 2015 movie is one they could have left in the book. I don't like being critical, but after seeing the movie the only highlight moment of the movie was that blue dress with the skinny waist.
I will always love this folk tale Cinderella. If you did not know there is another version that I am sure most have not seen is Cinderfella with Jerry Lewis. Check out this version on Youtube, it's nice version and very different girl going after boy.
I love the poet Kahlil Gibran. A poet of life, love, and pain. The Prophet is my favorite, that I purchase in 1976 and gave it to someone that I really cared about. Would love to see this movie.
Citizen Kane premiered May 1, 1941. This movie conveys how life can make a person decide the path of their life base on decisions of being rich. Sad at the end dying alone with all the treasures, but only having one memory that close to the heart at death "The Rose".

Good Morning!!! Woke up this morning with the trouble of this world on my shoulders. Very much in tears because we all have come so far from all the crisis that has occurred in past history. If you check history you will find that it is repeating itself. When President Obama gave his speech "this is nothing new" it's not.
We have to keep finding ways to get along with each other, respecting the work that each person does on this earth. We are all like the busy bees, trying to keep the home front in order to produce the honey we need. Sure there is a queen to every hive, know there can be only one queen, and the rest are workers.
check out www.thepeoplehistory.com and www.wikipedia.com and other archive sites that will give you knowledge of our past history on wars, weather, riots, etc.
This song reminds me when I was a teenager of 14 and hanging with the college students at Morehouse College. Being on Morehouse campus gave me the experience of how college student lived while they advance themselves in their education. I learn from them because I knew I would not be fortunate to attend college due to my parents finances. Life doesn't promise you a silver spoon or bed or roses so you have to make the best of what you have. I did continue my education upon reaching adulthood. As I get older, I will continue to explore all that I can learn to keep me abreast in what the world has to offer.
